Spring Home Tour | Bunnies, Peter Rabbit Tablescape & Kitchen Reveal

Join Us for the 2026 Spring Home Tour

Welcome to my home for the Spring Home Tour! Along with 18 other talented bloggers, I’m sharing my home all dressed up and ready for spring!

Spring is the time when I feel a sense of renewal. My seeds are sprouting on my seed station, and I can see my spring bulbs starting to push through the ground. I want my home to feel bright and airy and remind me that gardening season is just around the corner.

The real highlight of this tour for me is revealing an exciting update to my kitchen. I’ve been looking forward to sharing it!

A cozy, rustic kitchen corner with white shelves displays books, dishes, a potted fern, vintage decor, and jars of flour and sugar—perfect for a Spring Home Tour or inspiring your next charming Peter Rabbit tablescape.

Spring Living Room Refresh: Florals, Bunnies & A New Sisal Rug

Light & Airy Drapes

The living space in our great room was instantly refreshed with white, airy floral drapery panels. I love the green tones in the panels, so I added green floral and green gingham pillow covers to the sofa to tie the look together.

A cozy corner with a checkered pillow on a white chair, a wooden side table holding a potted plant, and floral curtains beside a glass door—perfect for relaxing after your Spring Home Tour or planning the next Kitchen Reveal.

The New Sisal Rug

This space needed a new rug to complete the updated look, and I couldn’t be happier with the sisal rug I found. It was a Walmart find, and the price simply can’t be beat.

The neutral, natural materials of the rug give the room an airy, Nancy Meyer look.

A white coffee table with a glass top sits on a woven rug in front of a white sofa with green and white pillows. Perfect for your Spring Home Tour, the cozy cottage-style room features pink flowers and books, adding fresh charm.

Bunnies Everywhere

Bunnies have become the cornerstone of my Easter and spring decor, and this year I’m leaning into it with full enthusiasm. You’ll find all kinds of bunnies (ceramic, wood, and cement) tucked into corners and on shelves throughout the great room.

A Returning Favorite: The Garden Mantelscape

A few years ago I created a whimsical mantelscape with a garden theme, and it was so much fun that I’m bringing it back again this spring.

A cozy white-paneled fireplace is decorated with greenery and ferns for a charming spring home tour. Above the mantel hangs a large framed photo of a white bunny in a field, while shelves display blue and white dishes, books, and decorative items.

A Facebook Marketplace Find

The side table I found on Facebook Marketplace has completely stolen my heart. I had originally planned to paint it, but now that it’s in the room, I’ve fallen in love with the richness of the wood grain. It’s staying exactly as it is!

Dining Room Spring Decor & A Whimsical Peter Rabbit Tablescape

The Peter Rabbit Theme

Since bunnies have become the theme of my spring and Easter decor, it only made sense to carry that into a Peter Rabbit-inspired table setting. Using my collection of Peter Rabbit books as part of the table styling brought the theme beautifully to life.

An open illustrated children's book, featuring rabbits on one page, stands on a table decorated with green leaves and glassware, creating a whimsical Peter Rabbit Tablescape and garden-like setting perfect for a Spring Home Tour.

Greenery, Faux Cabbages & A Statement Centerpiece

In addition to the books, I used a generous amount of greenery, faux cabbages, and a faux tree as the centerpiece. Together, they give the table a lush, garden-fresh feel.

Candles & Flowers

Brass candleholders—some with flameless candles and others with candleholder vases filled with white ranunculus, adding both a warm glow and a touch of whimsy to the table. The candleholder vases are a recent purchase from my last trip to Kansas City and are a wonderful way to incorporate fresh flowers without taking up too much table space.

A dining table is elegantly set with green tableware, crystal glasses, white candles, open books, and floral centerpieces—a perfect Peter Rabbit Tablescape. Light streams through large windows with patterned curtains, and a brass chandelier hangs above.

Kitchen Makeover Reveal: From Desk Space to a Functional Coffee and Baking Station

The Backstory

Long before we completed our full kitchen renovation, “Handy” built me a desk area in a spot that had previously been an awkward, underutilized space. Once we remodeled the kitchen and opened it up to that area, the desk no longer served its original purpose. Because it sat below counter height, it had become a catch-all surface. I kept my KitchenAid mixer there, but I had to move it every time I wanted to use it.

BEFORE

The Solution: Raising It to Counter Height

I had the idea that we could raise the area to counter height by adding drawers on top of the existing cabinets. The fact that “Handy” was immediately on board told me two things: it would be a relatively straightforward fix, and he genuinely liked the idea.

More Counter Space, More Storage

In addition to gaining three new drawers, we filled in the old desk leg space with an additional cabinet. That means I not only gained a more functional counter surface, I also gained much-needed storage. Now that everything sits at the proper kitchen counter height, the area has become a dedicated coffee and baking station.

A cozy kitchen corner from our Kitchen Reveal features white shelves with cookbooks, plants, vintage scales, and mugs. Below, a stand mixer and glass jars add charm—perfect inspiration for your Spring Home Tour.

The Open Shelves

The open shelves above have been a dream of mine for some time. They give me a place to style and restyle to my heart’s content, and my spring decor up there makes me genuinely happy every time I walk into the kitchen.
