Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or a curious newbie, we’ve got something to inspire you. In our yard which is on the banks of the Fox River in Port Barrington, IL we have a large perennial garden, shade garden, herb garden, cut flower garden, and vegetable garden.

In addition to that we tend to a flock of feathered friends. We have 5 hens who live in a beautiful coop and provide us with fresh eggs almost year-round.

We made a kit greenhouse a little fancy with some DIY modifications. The greenhouse is not only a way for me to extend the season, it is also a space that we have used when entertaining.
