Latest From Living Large: Getting Ready for the Move
The trip to Dallas was quick but productive. We helped the kids pack up part of the house, and we also loaded our car with as much as we could squeeze in. We did a little pop-up garage sale, and they got rid of most of the things they would rather not move with them.

What’s Been Happening This Week
Once we got home, I’ve been busy catching up on some of my work because it will be some time before I get back to my normal schedule. Below are the four posts I cranked out this week.
In case you missed my Spring Home Tour
What I’m Up to Next Week
Today (Saturday 3/27) the kids flew home for a wedding and also to hunt for apartments. They will go back on Monday evening without Harrison. He will officially be moved and staying with Grandma and Grandpa for 2 weeks while his mommy and daddy finish packing up. They will be wrapping up their jobs in Dallas, getting their possessions on a moving truck, and heading to Chicago, driving their two cars.
We made the decision when we were down there with them that it just seemed more reasonable for the little guy to stay with us so they didn’t have to worry about him while they finalized everything in Texas.
So for the next two weeks I will be the teacher at “Grandma’s Homeschool.” My lesson plan has the little man being fluent in English and French, learning the whole alphabet and writing sentences in cursive, and also taking a shop class with Grandpa! In the next two weeks! 😂 😂 😂

Good News I Want to Share
- A study in Sweden has concluded that seniors who eat more meat have a better chance of offsetting the genetic risk for Alzheimer’s disease. This is great news for “Handy” as he is a meat and potatoes guy!
- Meet the “Rolling Scones” – a group of senior-living residents who love being back in the kitchen. And they are doing it at a senior residence just 15 minutes from my home.
- Cancer deaths fall to historic low in UK – Read why HERE

A peek into my life
Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections
I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.
It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.
It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
