Saturday at This Small House #42

Happy Saturday Friends!

When you read this I will be in Michigan at the Found Cottage Mercantile in Holland Michigan. I’m meeting some of my blogger friends to go vintage shopping.

I’m not hunting for anything in particular but you never know what I might find for fall or even Christmas decor. I went to Goodwill yesterday with a trunk of stuff just in case because I have a rule that for everything that comes in – something has to go out.

Tuesday’s Blog Post

On Thursday, I shared a really simple, healthy gluten-free Chicken & Rice recipe. I’ve been off gluten (except for my birthday weekend) for about three weeks and miraculously my back and knees aren’t hurting me.

My 30-Day Cleaning & Organizing Challenge is back and I’m blown away by how many people have already signed up. We are going to have quite the group cleaning and organizing their homes in September.

The timing is perfect to declutter from the summer and be in great shape before the fuss of the holidays.

If you’re a blogger or just looking for lots of inspiration, visit the blog on Fridays for our Fabulous Friday Link Party. I along with Diane from South House Design, Michele from Vintage Home Designs, Amy from Amy Sadler Design, Rich & Donna from An Organized Season, and Wendy from WM Design House are hosting this fun event. It starts on Fridays at 8:00 am EST and ends on Mondays at 12 noon.

This week I talked with my dear friend Jen who I also helped to organize her home.
