Latest At Living Large: I’m Home

I’m home and I hope to be home through the end of the year! Yah!

This is what I came home to:

A cozy living room with white sofas, floral curtains, and large windows letting in sunlight. Built-in shelves and wooden floors blend with the latest trend of exposed unfinished upper walls near the ceiling.

This Week’s Events

The state of our great room leaves me in a real pickle. I’m hosting a virtual Holiday Tour with 34 other talented ladies. It’s two weeks away. I’m going to have to get very creative because this isn’t going to change anytime soon as the windows take at least two weeks to produce, then they have to get put in.

I’m sure I will deliver something very fun, and you’ll want to mark your calendars to come back, starting Monday, November 17th. Not to visit all the homes, but to see what I come up with.

This week it was all about my office and the only place that I’ve decorated with my signature blue and white.

I’m always anxious for the next upcoming season. Christmas is the Season where I work the hardest to make it magical. If you’re looking for some inspiration you can find it here.

Things That I Found Interesting This Week

  • Sarah Mullally became the first female Archbishop of Canterbury in it’s 1,400-year history. Read about it HERE.
  • Hopeful people live longer lives in a 14-year study. Sometimes it’s hard to feel hopeful. My goal with this blog is to spread a bit of joy and hopefulness. I sure want to believe I’m doing that!

Behind the scenes

Hi, I’m Lynn

I traded corporate life for cozy living and now share how to make small spaces feel beautifully intentional.

With a love of vintage finds, organized chaos (emphasis on organized), and a handy husband who builds my wild ideas, I’m here to show that living large isn’t about square feet—it’s about heart, style, and good bones.

An older woman in a summer capsule wardrobe—white shirt, blue overalls, and gardening gloves—stands on grass, digging with a shovel among lush green plants and pink flowers. Trees and a white trellis frame the vibrant outdoor scene.
