Latest From Living Large: Happy 4th Weekend

I hope you’ve had a great 4th of July weekend! We don’t have to go anywhere to see fireworks. Living on the water brings out the party in everyone, and we can see multiple fireworks shows right from our backyard. On Friday night the fireworks were competing with the thunder to see who is the loudest.

I’m a party pooper as I don’t really like the loud noise. When we had our little dog Molly, I always sat in our bedroom with the TV on because she was scared to death of fireworks. Old habits are hard to break, and that’s how I spent most of this weekend’s evenings.

What’s Been Happening This Week

I did not put out any new content this week. I was downtown all of Monday and Tuesday helping Emma move. Her new place is so cute.

The rest of the week, I’ve been on a mission of decluttering, purging, cleaning, and rearranging around my house. I have a couple of big projects that I’m working on that I hope to be able to share with you soon. I’m pretty excited about what I’ve been doing.

I’ve tried to spend some time in the gardens this week. It’s been blistering hot, so I’ve only been able to get a few hours in between the heat and thunderstorms.

What I’m Up to Next Week

I’m going to continue working on my projects this upcoming week. I also have some behind-the-scenes blog maintenance that I need to take care of. Next weekend we are celebrating both Annie’s and Keith’s birthday, so I need to figure out a plan. They want to go boating, but I will need an alternative plan if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

A boat dock with a covered shelter extends over a calm lake, surrounded by trees and houses—a tranquil scene that invites recollection, as the clear sky and gentle clouds reflect softly on the water.

Good News I Want To Share

  • Ok, this is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time. I want one. The Fiat Topolino EV and it’s coming to the states.
  • This article is about unusually beautiful words. I even cut and pasted them and put them in my notes. I’m hoping the opportunity will come about for me to use one or more of them.
  • Here is a real feel good story. Cristiano Ronaldo is a billionaire footballer (soccer to us in the USA), and he is the most charitable of all athletes. I wish others would follow his example.

A peek into my life

Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections

I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.

It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.

It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
