Latest At Living Large: Proud Grandparents
We are busy watching our 18-month old grand son this weekend!
Agreeing to watch a toddler for four days is not for the faint of heart! My house is a disaster.

This Week’s Events
Besides babysitting and trying to get a bit of blogging in here and there, I spent a day via zoom with my blogging buddies working on one of the projects we were going to do when we all were in California.
The greenhouse is at a standstill now because I have to paint more windows that “Handy” has sanded and prepped for me at this shop. Hopefully next week I’ll make some real progress on that.
Yesterday, “Handy” threw out the first pitch (with the help of Harrison) at our Village’s Annual Softball Tournament. Today we are going to visit our niece and her kids who are visiting from Las Vegas.
This week coming up I hope to get a few days in the garden along with my window painting.
I also have a meeting about some exciting things I hope to bring to Living Large in A Small House by the end of the year. More details to come!

I’m always anxious for the next upcoming season. Christmas is the Season where I work the hardest to make it magical. If you’re looking for some inspiration you can find it here.
Things That I Found Interesting This Week
- Did you know I was a Girl Scout Leader? From the time Annie was in Kindergarten through High School. Our little troop even from early on liked to do acts of service. So I love a feel good Girl Scout Story. You might enjoy this too.
- How many of you know I have a series called Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections? You can get an up close and personal look into my life as I recall it. The First in the series is HERE
- Shannon on IG @pinkynel never fails to make me laugh. She’s a Canadian who live in Florida 1/2 the year so she can golf year round! She has taken up a new career as a funny lady on Instagram in her 70’s. I hope you get as big of kick out of her as I do!
- One of the most beautiful books yet by Courtney Allison was released this week “French country Cottage in Bloom” – I have all of her books.
Behind the scenes
Hi, I’m Lynn
I traded corporate life for cozy living and now share how to make small spaces feel beautifully intentional.
With a love of vintage finds, organized chaos (emphasis on organized), and a handy husband who builds my wild ideas, I’m here to show that living large isn’t about square feet—it’s about heart, style, and good bones.

hi lynn
cute photo! how do you get anything done with a toddler 😊😳

Hi Laura – It was a challenge. It took me three days to get my house in order after he left. My floors were so sticky. Every surface had finger prints – It was a free for all.
