This Week’s Favorite Finds

I have had several companies send me some products for me to try and for me to give my honest opinion about. Some I will admit I probably have to give more time to evaluate. But I want to share with you from the start.

  • Let’s start out with an instant winner. I’ve been cursed with very high arches in my feet. These have caused numerous amounts of problems that seem to have esculated as I’ve gotten older. I have custom made orthodics but they don’t fit in all of my shoes. When Forme Science reached out to me and offered me to try their arch booster socks, I was more than happy to give them a try. When I put them on, immediately I felt the support of my arches and also felt like my balance issues were better when I wear these socks. They have a L on the left and an R on the right. Something that does truly make a difference. I highly recommend these socks if you, like me, suffer from high arches or balance issues.
  • I love good skin products. I was gifted the A30 Elemental Serum and A30 Elemental Night Cream by Elm Biosciences. Elm is a clinical skincare platform co-created by Martha Stewart and her visionary dermatologist, Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, alongside an unprecedented advisory board of 350+ leading dermatologists, scientists, and researchers. I’ve been only using it for about a week, and I feel like when I wake up in the morning after using the night cream, my skin is glowy. It also smells amazing!
  • Losing 50+ pounds in the last year has left me with a few annoying problems. One thing I struggle with is getting enough protein in my diet, and I’m shedding hair everywhere. When I was approached by Veracity to try their protein powder and their Metabolism Ignite Supplements, I jumped at the chance. I haven’t given the supplements enough time to give an honest opinion but I’ll keep you posted. The two scoops of powder frothed into 8 oz. of milk is the start to my day now. What I can say is that I feel better when I have been starting my day with this protein drink. I didn’t think I would like the Vanilla Cinnamon flavor because I’m not a fan of cinnamon but it is very good!
  • Lastly, I was approached by Fabula Coffee to try out some of their products. I love my morning coffee but I’m not really a coffee snob. My coffee is a little more like some coffee with my cream! Even with lots of cream, just one cup of coffee in the morning always gave me heartburn. This is low-acid coffee and I can sure tell. It’s also organic and clean. I ordered their Medium | Freshly Ground coffee. I’m amazed that I could taste the difference when I drank good coffee. They have a new customer in me because of the low-acid. I also ordered their Collegen Peptides which I have been adding to my coffee for about a month. Collegen Peptides is supposed to help with the hair issue and while my hair is still shedding, it seems to have slowed down.

A blue background with hand-drawn elements sets the stage. A heart symbol flanked by two lines adds charm, while the text "Lynn xoxo" in cursive whispers a promise to make food prep easier and more delightful.

Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections

I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.

It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.

It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
