Latest From Living Large: Summer Fun with the Family

It has been incredibly hot here in Northern Illinois, so I try to get out early to get a few hours of gardening in. My veggies are thriving, but so are the weeds. It’s difficult to keep up.

What’s Been Happening This Week

Tommy brought Harrison to us on Wednesday because he had to deal with selling their second car that was still here in the suburbs. I kept the little guy until Annie came on Friday morning. She had the day off from work because it was her birthday. Emma and her new roommate Brit came on Saturday, and we’ve had a weekend of boating, eating, drinking, fun with family friends, and fireworks.

I spend most of the week on an organizing frenzy. I’m hoping to get it out to you by next week. It’s one of those projects that had a snowball effect, and things got really bad before they got better.

What I’m Up to Next Week

I have to start the week off by vacuuming and washing all of my floors. With a houseful of people all weekend, we are just sticking to the floors.

Would you like to save this?

We'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later!

Then I’m going to finish my organizing project in between loads of laundry, sheets, and too many towels to count.

Good News I Want to Share

Due to lack of time, the only good news I have to share this week is sparked by the picture above. We had friends over for dinner, and we just ordered pizza. However, taking the time to set a pretty table made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Harrison was the first to take a seat. He was starving after a day of boating!

A peek into my life

Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections

I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.

It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.

It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
