Latest From Living: In Like A Lion

As we head into March we are having some ridiculous Illinois weather. On Friday it was in the 60s and Saturday it was in the 20s and snowing!

A lush farmhouse cottage garden with tall green grass and pink blooming flowers, bordered by a stone walkway. A white gazebo and trees are in the background, with a lake and houses visible in the distance.

What’s Been Happening This Week

I had a procedure on my eye this week, and it was miraculous. I suffer from extremely dry eyes, and drops help, but not much. It always seems like I’m looking through blurry glasses. I had a painless placenta implant. This small disc was placed in my eye, which was then patched. Six hours later I could see out of that eye. I can’t wait until I get the other one done this coming week.

On Saturday I went to a large antique market that is held once a year. I’ve known about it for some time, but I have never gone. My friend Jill and I went yesterday. We had so much fun, and we each got some finds that we are very excited about.

“Handy” dismantled some cabinets in the kitchen for our latest project. You can see a picture of the mess below. I hope it turns out the way I expect!

What I’m Up to Next Week

Here is my to-do list for the week. It will be interesting to see if I get everything done!

  • Blog Work
  • Declutter & Organize Clothes Armoire
  • 2nd Eye Implant
  • Decorate for Easter
  • Plant Seeds
  • Change Primary Bedroom Bedding
  • Work on Kitchen Project
  • Organize Pantry

Good News I Want to Share

  • I made Jennifer Aniston’s famous salad recipe, and it was delicious. You can find it HERE. I omitted the mint and added green onions. You could make this salad your own by adding whatever you like to this salad.
  • The second half of Season 3 of Bridgerton is available on Netflix
  • Did you hear about Punch the Monkey? His mom abandoned him, but he found a stuffed friend, and now he’s making real monkey friends. A cute, heartwarming story HERE
A peek into my life

Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections

I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.

It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.

It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
