Latest From Living: Very Busy Week
This week seemed very busy! Mostly simple everyday chores, but I had a feeling of great accomplishment this week.

What’s Been Happening This Week
This week, in addition to getting my second amniotic membrane implant in my other eye (last week I shared more details about this miracle cure for extremely dry eyes). And “Handy” working on my latest project, I accomplished:
- Refreshing our bedroom
- Organized my wardrobe (2 bags of donation/1 bag of garbage)
- Almost done with gathering all of our tax info
- Did some house cleaning
- Got my hair cut
- Decorated for Easter
- Rearranged my office
- Planted more seeds
- Went to dinner with a friend
- Finished all the laundry
In the kitchen cabinets that I’m eliminating, we kept office supplies. It made sense to house them in my office, but I needed something to store them in. I found a smallish cabinet on Facebook Marketplace, and for $25 I scored this piece that was only 4 miles from our house. I love it in my office. It’s in the picture above.
What I’m Up to Next Week
I have another busy week coming up. I have to get my house ready for a spring home tour where I’m virtually opening up my doors along with some of my other blogger friends to share our spring decor.
Not only that, but I also have a few doctors appointments this week. I’m also meeting a blogging friend to work together on Thursday morning. We have dinner plans with friends next weekend! Hello, Wisconsin Supper Clubs- Here we come!

Good News I Want to Share
- Today is International Women’s Day!
- A universal vaccine for cold, flu, COVID, and allergies moves a step closer—where do I sign up?
- I found this story so interesting. In 1951 the cells from Henrietta Lacks’s tumor were taken without her knowledge, and Novartis profited greatly from these cells. I’m so glad her family is benefitting from the contribution she gave without her consent.

A peek into my life
Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections
I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.
It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.
It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
