Saturday Shopping: Father’s Day Gift Guides
Every Saturday I share a few favorite finds—pieces I love, use, or would genuinely bring into my own home. From cozy decor to practical everyday tools, these are the things catching my eye this week.

This Week’s Favorite Finds
I always have a tough time getting “Handy” gifts for Father’s Day. He buys things he wants and needs and leaves nothing for us to surprise him with. We really have to think outside the box.
I came up with some gifts that are $25 or less.
What I Love About These Gifts
- The wrist magnet band is something I believe I will get for Keith. He never seems to know where to hold screws or nails that he needs for a project.
- He uses paper towels to line the sink when he shaves, and it just doesn’t cut the mustard. The beard bib is such a genius idea.
- Keith loves to know useless information, and this Book of Unusual Information is something he would enjoy.
- When we don’t have dinner planned and we don’t know what to have, the meal cube would be great because we both say, “I don’t care; what do you want?”
These items are for those who have bigger budgets. 🙂
Why I Love These Gift Ideas
- The idea of watching movies outside in summer is something that seems so fun, especially now that we have little Harrison living nearby. Now if I could only figure out how to eliminate the mosquitoes from around our house.
- I know that Keith would enjoy the custom boat mat for our boat. We saw a flooring system at a boat show that we are considering instead of the snap-in carpet, and this would look great on top of it.
- The custom baseball books for our son-in-law, who is a huge baseball fan, are already in my cart.
- And who doesn’t love YETI products? They are a little pricey, but in my opinion, worth it!
Some Father’s Day Recipe Ideas
- We love baby back ribs at our house, and “Handy’s” recipe is so simple and delicious. A great barbecue idea.
- If you want to make something fancy, try my recipe for beef tenderloin. It’s a family favorite here.
- I know the secret for making the best corn on the cob. Try my trick, and you can thank me later.
- Round out your Sunday barbecue meal with the best potato salad. Just omit the chicken if you want to have it as a side dish.

If you purchased something from one of my links, thank you very much. You’re able to buy the item at the same price as you would without using my link, and I make a little commission on the sale. It helps to support my work on Living Large in A Small House. I appreciate you very much!
Happy Shopping 💙

A peek into my life
Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections
I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.
It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.
It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
