Saturday Shopping: Amazing Walmart Finds

Every Saturday I share a few favorite finds—pieces I love, use, or would genuinely bring into my own home. From cozy decor to practical everyday tools, these are the things catching my eye this week.

Two wicker armchairs with cream cushions face each other, separated by a round wicker side table holding a potted plant and pink drink—perfect for elevating your space or inspiring your next shopping find. All pieces are set against a white background.

This Week’s Favorite Finds

I’m so impressed with Walmart lately. I have been looking for things for outside, things for in the house projects, and just looking for fun stuff. I’ve also been looking for things for Annie & Tommy’s new apartment. Walmart does not disappoint.

Why I Love These Pieces

  • The scalloped wooden raised-bed planter just arrived on my doorstep yesterday. I’m very excited to open it and put it together. I will report back to you how I like it. I ordered the unfinished wood because I think I might paint it.
  • I’m working on making the guest/toddler/junk room into a quiet, calm guest room for both grandson and Mom & Dad. I’m going to add some scalloped wicker, and I’m in love with these shelves. I also want to mount some lamps on the wall next to the main bed, and Walmart has some gorgeous options that are so budget-friendly.
  • My obsession with blue and white has been a theme for most of my adult life. The dinnerware at Walmart looks like my vintage pieces at a fraction of the price. Bonus, I wouldn’t be afraid to use them every day.

More Spring Inspiration for Your Home

  • If you want to try something fun for spring/summer, try creating this whimsical spring mantelscape. If you don’t have a mantel, you could easily recreate it on a breakfront or dresser top.
  • Get your printable checklist for spring garden chores.
  • I’ve been on a purging and organizing kick lately. If you would like to join me, read this post to get you motivated.

If you purchased something from one of my links, thank you very much. You’re able to buy the item at the same price as you would without using my link, and I make a little commission on the sale. It helps to support my work on Living Large in A Small House. I appreciate you very much!

A blue background with hand-drawn elements sets the stage. A heart symbol flanked by two lines adds charm, while the text "Lynn xoxo" in cursive whispers a promise to make food prep easier and more delightful.

Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections

I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.

It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.

It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
