Saturday at This Small House #5
Happy Saturday Friends!
Today is 6 days post-op for “Handy” and he’s doing pretty good. He’s getting a little stir crazy and bored which is a good sign that he’s feeling better. He’s only taking Tylenol at this point so that’s great news. I had blog posts almost ready to go but the first few days, I couldn’t even find the time to put the finishing touches on them and press publish. C’est La Vie!
Annie and Kenny will be home on Wednesday so this weekend I’m concentrating on some deep cleaning of the bedrooms and bathrooms. I will cleaning my floors early next week. Right before they get here.
I hope all of you are ready for the holidays if you celebrate and your home is cozy and festive for whatever you have planned.
Tuesday’s Blog Post Didn’t Happen
Thursday’s Blog Post didn’t Happen Either but I had a Post on Friday!
Living Large Podcast
We had fun talking with our guests Annie & Tommy on our Podcast this past week. We talked about when you can’t go home for Christmas.
Don’t forget to listen to Episode #7 on Monday!
Peace,
This Happened!
I met Amy Whitebread Melin on Instagram. We happen to live near each other and we have become friends in real life. She’s the reason I’m now collecting Flow Blue China. Well, she is featured in “Country Sampler” Magazine – January 2022 Issue. She is my vintage inspiration and my go-to when I have vintage questions. I’m so happy for her and she is so deserving of being featured in a 4-page spread. You can follow Amy on Instagram @thevintagebreadbox
So happy that “Handy” is doing so well. Before you know it he will be up and around. I am sure that you are going to have an amazing holiday with your daughter, it is always nice to be with family. Merry Christmas Lynn. It has been a gift this year to be in your tribe and to learn from you. Thank you for your help and wisdom and silliness to share.
Hi Elizabeth – I hope you had a great Christmas too! How fun to be in a new house and create a whole new Christmas vibe. The support from the ladies I’ve met through KariAnne’s group has been life-changing. Best thing I ever did.
