Latest From Living Large: What a Week

I’m sending this a day early, as many of you might be celebrating Easter tomorrow.

What a week it’s been!

What’s Been Happening This Week

We have had Harrison full-time since Monday. He will be with us until May 1st. Mom and Dad came home to find an apartment, which they did, but they can’t move in until 5/1. They headed back to Dallas to finish packing, supervise the mover this coming week. Then they will drive both their cars back to Chicago.

Annie starts her job Monday, April 13th. She will be staying downtown with her sister Emma, and Tommy and Harrison will be with us for most of April. They do plan to fly to NYC to visit his Nana, who lives there for part of the time.

I had forgotten what life with a two-year-old was like. We get up and eat breakfast, then are busy until lunch. After lunch it’s nap time. During the nap, Grandma has enough time to clean up the kitchen from breakfast and lunch, spend a little time on my computer, and then we have round two until Grandpa gets home from work.

Being the glutton for punishment that I am, we are picking up days-old chicks today to add to the chaos that is our home.

This Week’s Posts

This week all I was able to get to is an updated post with Sunday brunch menu ideas if you need some last-minute suggestions. It’s also the first Saturday of the month, and that means shopping with my friends!!

What I’m Up to Next Week

The upcoming week will be much like this one. I imagine I will be taking several trips to the library. I forgot how much fun the children’s library is for little ones. Not only that, but I am also going to take him to a goat farm to visit. He’s obsessed with farm animals.

We will also be tending to the new chicks. It will be very interesting to see how this curious little man reacts to these little creatures in our house.

A peek into my life

Lynn’s Recollections & Reflections

I have a little series that started out as a journal of sorts for my kids to have about my life. It became something more.

It’s a place where I share a very personal look into my life and believe it or not have helped some people get out of unhealthy situations.

It’s a work of fiction as it relates to others as it is my recollections of events. I hope you enjoy!
