Saturday Shopping with Me: My Home Office

I’m moving things around in my office today because I want to move my desk out of the closet alcove and put it under one of the windows in the room.

While I’m cleaning everything and looking at all of the things I use in my office, I wanted to share some of my favorites.

The whiteboard, reminiscent of a Saturday shopping spree, showcases an assortment of fabric swatches in various patterns and colors, ribbons, cutouts, and a color palette card. The background displays elegant blue and white toile-patterned wallpaper.

Favorite Office Supplies

My #1 favorite office supply that I’ve used for about 8 years now are my erasable Frixion markers. I’m a paper planner gal so these allow me to color code and erase if appointments or meetings change. I just love them.

While I like my planner to be a paper, I don’t like much paper in my house. I use a scanner to scan important documents into my computer (always back up to an external hard drive) and then I shred everything before throwing it in my recycle bin. I use my portable scanner for bulk scanning and when I just need one scan of something I can do that with my printer.

Everything I need to do my job fits on my rolling cart. This way I can tuck it into a closet or move around the house if I want to work in another room.

One of my favorite place to buy office supplies is the Container Store and this weekend they are having a BOGO 50% off Sale – Storewide! (Expires 4/14/2025)

Peace & Love,

A blue background with hand-drawn elements sets the stage. A heart symbol flanked by two lines adds charm, while the text "Lynn xoxo" in cursive whispers a promise to make food prep easier and more delightful.
A dark blue background with a subtle, wavy abstract line pattern running across the center, reminiscent of the flowing creativity often found when living large in a small house.
About the elderly woman: With long gray hair and glasses, she wears a white knit sweater and hoop earrings, her gentle smile radiates warmth against the plain light gray background.
