Saturday Shopping with Me and My Friends #29
Welcome to Saturday Shopping at this Small House
Once a month I go shopping with some of my blogger buddies because it’s always more fun when you shop with a friend!

On my blog Living Large in A Small House, I may sometimes use affiliate links, which means a small commission is earned if you purchase via the link. The price will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link. You can find my full Disclosure Policy HERE
Valentine’s Day Decor
I don’t do a lot of decorating for Valentine’s Day, but I do think it’s fun to add a little touch of love to my home in February. “Handy” calls it a Hallmark Holiday and won’t participate; however, he does like when I fill a jar with Valentine’s candy. I found a few things that I’m loving for the season.
- This adorable square quilt tablecloth from Pottery Barn would be so sweet on my table layered over my white rectangular cloth.
- I found some cute-as-can-be hydrangea candles for $5 at Target!
- These vases look so cute with some spring tulips.
- Magnolia has a beautiful candy dish that looks like the vintage cut glass that I collect.

What My Friends Are Loving

While I recognize it is only February and spring is still several months away, I am eager to embrace the pastel hues and new designs of the coming season. Here are some of my favorite online finds for this month.
- This glass candle with a double wick from Walmart looks high end and is budget friendly.
- These ottomans are a great price and provide storage, a win-win if you live in small space. A pair of these ottomans would be perfect for an entryway.
- The colder weather has me staying indoors doing a lot of journaling. This toile patterned hardback lined journal is a great addition to my collection.
- Of course, spring = flowers. So, when I came across these “soda cans” filled with pansies and daisies, I immediately put them into my cart. Wouldn’t they make cute gifts for Valentine’s Day?

I’m craving some freshening up to make the house feel warmer and brighter. I really scored with these new options at TJ Maxx — which you know don’t last long!!!
- I love this Peter Rabbit baking dish to showcase on my open shelves or my plate rack. And I’m planning to add some budding branches in this bunny pitcher. And then this brass bunny bowl/planter and this adorable plate were just too charming to resist.
- This set of three neutral pillows is just too good! And I’m thrilled to find the intricate details of William Morris prints, but in spring colors. I’m deciding between this pair, and this pair.
- This little bookshelf rechargeable lamp with its scalloped shade will look so cute with these green toile pottery pieces, in a small size and then a bit larger size.
- And this 10-inch square basket is the perfect size and texture. I can’t wait to wind my own ribbon though the open channel based on my room decor or the season. Maybe even to compliment this quilt that will be lovely across the foot of the guest room bed.

- I ordered two different sizes of heart punches because I want to make paper heart garland for Valentines. I’ve been looking HERE for inspiration. I wanted good quality punches (not like the dull ones I used for scrapbooking back in the day). I’m hoping to use these for cotton fabrics, too. I got THIS one and THIS one. Very happy with them and excited to get crafty!
- Just love the ruffled detail on the neck and cuffs of these gingham blouses. I actually got two colorways, and they come in a lot of options, too. The fabric is fairly thin, so perfect to layer under a sweater or vest and not get too hot. Will be great for Spring days, too. You can find them HERE.
- The new year always means trying to make better habits, right? I’ve always hated flossing, but THESE little gadgets make it not so much a chore. And I love keeping my teeth white with THESE handy strips.
- By this time in the winter, my cozy sweaters are getting pilled. Thank goodness for THIS handy little machine that shaves them right off quickly. I also use it on blankets and upholstered furniture to give them a fresh look.

I hope that you enjoyed shopping with me today!
If you made a purchase, please know that we all appreciate it as it helps in a small way to support our small house businesses.
Peace and Love,
