Saturday Shopping with Me – Fresh Coat of Paint

Last weekend almost our whole downstairs got a fresh coat of paint. The walls in the great room (living room/dining room), the kitchen, hallways, entryway, up the stairs and upstairs landing, all got a fresh coat of paint.

I painted the house with Sherwin Williams Color of the Year – Upward and I’m thrilled with how it turned out.

It’s a lighter, brighter calm blue than what I had before. Now that I’m a Grandma I’m completely embracing it and leaning into the Grandma Coastal Vibe.

On my blog Living Large in A Small House, I may sometimes use affiliate links, which means a small commission is earned if you purchase via the link. The price will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link. You can find my full Disclosure Policy HERE

Painting & Decorating

We aren’t huge fans of painting but it is much easier if you have the right supplies. I bought rollers from Home Depot that “Handy” said were the best rollers we’ve ever used. They held a lot of paint and had little to no splatter.

I also wanted to share a little bit of the decor that I’m dreaming of now that the room is refreshed.

I hope that you enjoyed shopping with me today!

If you made a purchase, please know that I so appreciate it as it helps in a small way to support my small house business.

Peace & Love,
