Saturday Shopping with Me – Grandma’s Home

Welcome to another week of shopping.

Our niece and her 9-month-old baby girl spent a long weekend with us a few weeks ago. We also are expecting our own grandbaby in a few months.

It got me thinking about what we need to have at Grandma and Grandpa’s house for the baby so it doesn’t have to be dragged from one state to another when our kiddos come to visit.

A baby in floral pajamas sits on a blue bag among colorful toys and books on a white blanket, reaching for an object on the floor near a glass table after Saturday shopping.

Peace & Love,

A blue background with hand-drawn elements sets the stage. A heart symbol flanked by two lines adds charm, while the text "Lynn xoxo" in cursive whispers a promise to make food prep easier and more delightful.
A dark blue background with a subtle, wavy abstract line pattern running across the center, reminiscent of the flowing creativity often found when living large in a small house.

  1. How exciting for you Lynn! Great suggections. We have a cabinet the grands had headed to for years. It’s where the toys are stored. Port a crib is must. And various types of high chairs for different stages. Now the older ones head for the game cabinet or upstairs enclosed area to settle in for a nice read.

    1. I’m so excited too! I haven’t quite figured out how I’m going to create a kids space again in our home but I will do it! Hope all is well with you and your family.
