Saturday Shopping with Me: Winter Capsule Wardrobe

Every season I need to replace or add to some of my staple clothing. I only wear a few things and they are all part of a capsule wardrobe that all works together.

Since I work from home, I like to be comfortable and cozy in the winter but I also like to look nice enough to be able to run out if I need to run an errand or visit my local thrift shop to see what’s new.

Collage displaying a winter capsule wardrobe: a brown faux fur-lined coat, a white button-up shirt, flared jeans, a navy turtleneck sweater, and brown boots. Text below reads "Winter Capsule Wardrobe" and "Living Large in a Small House." Perfect for Saturday shopping adventures.

On my blog Living Large in A Small House, I may sometimes use affiliate links, which means a small commission is earned if you purchase via the link. The price will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link. You can find my full Disclosure Policy HERE

Capsule Wardrobe

A capsule wardrobe is basically a small collection of clothing and accessories that can be mixed and matched to create many outfits.

Sprinkled in each season is a few key pieces that can dress up or down pants, skirts, or a dress.

I don’t wear my dressy pieces often so I’m not in need of anything “fancy”. What I do need is a few pieces to replace my well-worn clothes that need to be retired.
