It was exactly 6 months ago today when “Handy” brought home this table he made for me. I was going to paint the shelves and either paint or replace the light.

So much to do, so little time!

I’m in Iowa City for my nieces wedding but hoping once I get back I’ll have more time because gardening is pretty much done.
.
I will be MIA until Monday!

Just a few more sunsets and we will be with family who we haven’t seen in a couple of years.

I haven’t posted on my blog since last week. I’ve been busy behind the scenes changing out my theme and it went live last night.
.
It still needs a little tweaking and I have to figure out my mail before my next post.
.
I’m in love with the new design. It’s easier to read and navigate. For those of you who had trouble reading my old font, prepare to be amazed.
.
We have a lot going on but I’m hoping to crank out my usual three posts this week.
.
I’ll have more wedding content for you next week. My Niece is getting married in Iowa City.

I’m in wedding mode again. My niece is getting married in Iowa next weekend and I’m handling the decor and flowers. I also have Annie and Tommy coming in and will be here overnight one night.
.
Need to get my house cleaned and everything that I’m taking from Illinois to Iowa packed and in my car.
.
I’m most excited about seeing family who I’ve only seen via Zoom for way too long!

Our Miss Cinnamon is strutting her stuff in the backyard.

She’s enjoying the fall weather before she won’t be back out of the coop again until spring!

As we have less day light, we get fewer and fewer eggs. I had to buy some this week for the first time since the spring. We are only getting about one a day.

It’s a dreary, rainy day here in the Chicago burbs.

I’m knee deep in re-doing my blog theme from @restored316 This is my second theme from them and I’m switching to the Kadence framework for my new Farmhouse theme.

I’m so in love with my new theme and can’t wait to show it all to you! Hopefully by the end of the week.
