Valentine’s Day Winter Wonderland! It’s just so nice to be inside, a fire crackling in the fireplace and a pot of Turkey Chili on the stove. That’s romance to me.
Turkey Chili1 lb. of ground turkey breast 1 onion, diced 1 tbsp., fresh minced garlic 1-2 tblsp. olive or grapeseed oil 2 – 28-oz., can of crushed tomates 1 – 16 oz., can of whole tomatoes (I use the ones I can from my garden) 1 can of bean (kidney, black, white) what ever I have in the pantry 2 tbsp., chili powder 1/2 tsp., salt 1/2 tsp., black pepper 1/2 tsp., oregano 1/2 tsp., cumin 1/2 tsp., cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp., paprika Brown the ground turkey in oil along with the onion and garlic until meat is browned. Drain off any excess liquid. Add all the remaining ingredients and bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Turn heat to simmer and let cook for 30 minutes or more.
